OUR RENTAL AIRCRAFT

Our 3 Cessna 172P models are equipped with strobes, two NAV/COMs, glideslope, ADF, 4 way intercoms, PIC/SIC push to talk.  Two of our 172P aircraft are also equipped with a DME and one 172P is further equipped with an autopilot.

Our 2 fuel injected Cessna 172R models are equipped with two NAV/COMs, glideslope, ADF, 4 way intercoms, autopilot, PIC/SIC push to talk, and  KLN GPS (one a/c GPS is legal for IFR, one a/c GPS is for VFR reference only). 

Our 2007 Cessna 172S model boasts the Garmin G1000 Glass Panel and is equipped with strobes, two NAV III NAV/COMs, glideslope, DME, autopilot, 4 way intercoms, PIC/SIC push to talk and G1000 Garmin IFR legal GPS.

AIRCRAFT RENTAL CHECKOUT POLICIES:

C-172P MODELS:

Requires a regular check out with an instructor.  The instructor will sign off pilot as they see fit (no minimum time required-should only take .5/hr – 1.0/hr). 

If first only checked out in a C-172P – customer may ONLY rent a 172P.  If customer wants to rent the C-172R’s – an additional check out is required.

C-172R MODELS:

A minimum of .5 dual with an instructor is required.  If a pilot gets checked out in a C-172R they may also rent a C-172P without an additional check-out.

C-172RG MODEL:

The pilot must have a minimum of 125 hrs. total time and a minimum of 5.0 hrs in a retractable gear aircraft to get a regular check out with an instructor.  The instructor will sign off pilot as they see fit (no minimum time required -should only take .5hr. – 1.0hr.).

If pilot DOES NOT have 5.0 hrs in a retractable then they cannot be signed off until they receive 5.0 hrs of dual in the retractable, as long as they have 125 hrs. total time.

A customer who has been checked out in the C-172RG may also rent a C-172P without an additional check out, however, in order to rent a C-172R an additional check out must still be done.

C-172S- Garmin G1000 Glass Panel:

A minimum of .5 dual with an instructor is required, however, if a pilot does not have any experience with the G1000 Glass Panel an extended check out is required.  Instructor signs off as they see fit.  If a pilot gets checked out in the C-172S they may also rent the C-172R and C-172P models without further check out.
